Herzliya Restaurants: Where to Eat at the Marina, in Pituach and by the Beach
Herzliya eats in two places. At lunchtime on weekdays, the tech workers of Herzliya Pituach fill the restaurants on Medinat HaYehudim, Shenkar and HaMenofim streets, where business lunch deals are the norm. In the evening and at weekends, the crowd moves west to the marina and the cliff-top seafront.
This list sticks to places open and operating as of October 2026, checked against Israel's restaurant guides. Kosher status is marked where the restaurant holds a certificate. Kosher places close from Friday afternoon until Saturday night, so plan Shabbat meals around the others.
At the marina
The quayside at Herzliya Marina is the obvious dinner spot, with tables facing the boats.
Benny Hadayag (Yordei Yam 1). A long-running fish and seafood house, kosher, with the full spread of Israeli salads before the grilled fish.
Derby Bar Dagim (HaShunit 2). Fish and seafood, chef-led, open daily until late.
Lehem Basar (HaShunit 2). A kosher steakhouse. Closes before Shabbat on Friday and reopens Saturday night.
Papagaio (HaShunit 2). A kosher South American grill, rodizio-style meat for big appetites.
In Pituach, the business district and the seafront
Nammos (HaTzedef 1). Japanese, chef-led, open every day from noon to midnight.
Lola Martin (Abba Eban Boulevard 10). Fish and seafood in the middle of the business district. Ranked near the top of Rest, the Israeli restaurant guide, for Herzliya Pituach.
Vivino (Arie Shenkar 9). Italian, chef-led, pasta and pizza, open daily from 11:30.
Calata 15 (Medinat HaYehudim 89). Italian, another chef's restaurant on the street.
La Vaca Loca (Medinat HaYehudim 60). A steakhouse at the top end of the price range, open Sunday to Thursday.
Salon Yevani (Eli Landau 60). Greek food on the seafront strip, dinner on weekdays and lunch on Friday.
Sunset Kitchen (Eli Landau 60). Kosher Mediterranean, chef-led. Closed Saturday.
Agadir (HaMenofim 9). Burgers, open late, until 1 or 2 in the morning.
Other names that come up again and again in reviews include Bistro 56, a steakhouse, Yam 7 for seafood, the Mediterranean restaurant Sebastian, Meat Bar, and the Asian kitchens Zozobra and Minato. Check hours before you go, especially on Friday.
Coffee and something sweet
The seafront and the old centre both have cafés open from early morning, many of them local chains doing big Israeli breakfasts: eggs, salads, cheeses and bread for one price. For dessert, Julietta (HaMaapilim 39) makes Italian-style gelato.
A few tips
Reserve for Thursday and Saturday nights, which are the busy evenings in Israel. Weekday business lunch menus in Pituach are usually the best value in the city. Service is not always included in the bill, and a tip of 10 to 15 percent is normal.
